Oxford Together & Together Neighbours

In March 2020, we set up Oxford Together, a volunteering programme to facilitate community support during the covid-19 pandemic.

This work has now ended – we’ve shifted from crisis response to longer-term support for people’s health and wellbeing that’s rooted in the community. See our pages on Community-rooted Health Support and Bridge Builders for more information.

You can also read stories about the impact of Oxford Together and a blog post about how our work has evolved since March 2020.

Looking for support?

If you need some support but you are not sure what is available or where to start looking, you can contact the Community Information Network. The Network is run by Age UK Oxfordshire, for anyone over 18 with care and support needs, to enable them to stay independent and live life to the full.  One of their Community Link workers will listen to what matters to you and help you to find the solutions that will work for you.

If you need some support such as information on low-cost food options, support accessing emergency food or advice, please contact the City Council. They can explore this with you and support you with next steps.
