Social Prescribing Link Worker (Children and Young People)

Salary: £30,523.50

Duration: Permanent.

Hours: Up to Full Time (37.5 hours per week), part time considered

Location: Oxford City with a particular focus on the OX4 postcode

Are you a compassionate, organised person who is passionate about supporting Children and Young People (CYP) experiencing anxiety and depression?

The CYP Link Worker will provide holistic, person-centered support to young people (11-18yrs) who are living with neurodiversity, anxiety or depression and missing school. They will support the young person to learn how to manage their anxiety, access community activities and groups, therapeutic interventions, and support the development of activities to improve their mental health and overall wellbeing.

This is an exciting role to build and develop the social prescribing role within the new Children and Young People Integrated Neighbourhood Team in South East Oxford. Therefore a proactive, creative and flexible approach is essential as the project evolves.
