Accessibility and taking part in our programmes

Participating if you have a disability

We will make reasonable adjustments to our training and opportunities wherever possible. If you have a disability, including physical disabilities, mental health conditions, or learning difficulties, please get in touch and let us know what your needs are. Our application forms have a section for you to tell us about your accessibility requirements and what we can do to help. Alternatively, email [email protected] if you have any questions.

Participating with a support worker

If you need a carer or support worker with you when taking part in Oxford Hub activities, please let us know. We can make arrangements to cater for this in some of our programmes. If you do not have a carer/support worker but would like another volunteer to support you when volunteering, please get in touch.

Accessing our offices

We run events and activities from our office at 36 Little Clarendon Street and Windale Community Hub. Both have step-free access and Windale Community Hub has an accessible toilet.

For other questions about accessibility please contact [email protected]

Financial support

We pay back our volunteers for travel expenses within Oxford, and any costs spent on materials such as printing. If you have any queries or think that money may be a barrier to you taking part in our programmes, please get in touch with [email protected] so that we can explore reasonable adjustments to support you.
