The Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University is inviting nominations for the inaugural Vice-Chancellor’s Civic Awards. The Vice-Chancellor's Civic Awards will be given in recognition of exceptional and inspirational individual achievement and personal commitment to improving the state of society and our world.
The award is open to any student currently studying at Oxford University. Students must be proposed by a ‘sponsor’ and should then fill in the remainder of the form to outline why they are deserving of the award.
The awards will be presented at a celebratory dinner in June 2010. If you cannot make this date please still apply and alternative arrangements will be made. A maximum of six awards will be made.
The deadline for nominations is 5pm on the 20th March 2010 (end of 9th week Hilary Term). Successful candidates will be notified early in Trinity Term.
