The Oxford Forum for International Development (OxFID) is a student run organisation that aims to spread awareness and understanding among students about issues in the International Development sector.
Every year we organise two Forums. The first is a one-day introductory event, and the second is a weekend of talks, debates, and workships. Both events seek to promote discussion, debate and awareness and to provide an environment in which academics, professionals and students can come together to discuss development issues.
Our last Forum was held from the 9th - 11th May 2008 in the Said Business School, and our focus was on the vast and vibrant continent of Africa.
